Asking for help can be very difficult and requires courage; it is my goal to make the process as simple and clear as possible. I have worked for several years as a counselor in Maryland working with adolescent and young men, and with anyone who feels misunderstood or misrepresented. I have training and experience in a number of types of therapy including Cognitive Behavioral, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, as well as several others. Despite this, in my experience the change process is rooted in the therapeutic relationship, in my clients’ feeling of safety and comfort in my office.

Because of this you can expect to feel welcomed immediately when you come in, respected at all times, and never judged. We will then work together as a team to decide the most appropriate treatment for you based on your individual need.
